While we specialize in diagnostic repair, general vehicle repairs are the bread and butter of Moon Performance. We work on all makes and models, including motorcycles and offer a vast menu of repairs; everything from oil changes, brakes and tires to major engine and transmission repair. Not only are our technicians ASE certified, but additional training is done in-house, making sure a high-level of consistent service is always provided.
Every vehicle needs an oil change, and we suggest it happen every 5,000 miles or every 6 months. We are not Jiffy Lube. Our oil changes are vehicle comprehensive and our technicians give your vehicle a very thorough multi-point check over, alerting you of any potential hazards you may experience down the road. Leaking seals, loose steering/suspension components, irregular tire wear and regular maintenance that may be overdue on your vehicle are examples of what we look for while performing an oil change on your vehicle.
Hoffman Auto stocks a variety of oils to meet manufacturer specifications; this includes synthetic and synthetic blends.
What you can expect from the store when outside temp dropped below 25, covered with snow everywhere and your car starts malfunctioning in a small village like Lake Placid? You dont expect a five star service, with free wifi, coffee, waiting room, tv channels and then big estimate process? Rather warm welcome, quick checking and diagnostics and providing the resolution, personally care each of the customers? I am very much satisfied with them.
Amazing group of people who work here. Doing some seriously clean/good work on cars for a good price. I drive 3.5 hours to have them tune my car- I wouldn’t trust anyone else with it at this point. Keep up the great work, guys!
